Drinking and Dining with a View at Paddlefish Restaurant in Disney Springs

I love Disney! I love living in Orlando where I can hop on I-4 and be down to Walt Disney World in no time. Much faster than my visits coming from Denver.

There's so much I enjoy about Walt Disney World, but one of my favorites is hanging out and exploring Disney Springs

I am not a mall person AT ALL, so when they magically transformed Downtown Disney I was a happy lady. I love being able to shop, drink and eat and do it all at Walt Disney World.🌟

While there have been a bunch of new shops and eateries opening up in Disney Springs, One iconic restaurant has gotten a sweet makeover.

I stopped by Paddlefish Restaurant to check out their swanky new digs and enjoy some drinks and sample some food.

The party took place on the rooftop of this iconic Disney restaurant. This is the only Disney Springs restaurant to offer rooftop-waterfront dining👍 The live music up top on the weekends is a nice bonus.

While making my way to the roof I couldn't get over the views from the dining room. You could sit here drink wine and watch that volcano erupt all night🌋

First order of business is what to drink?!? I'm an indecisive person. I had all these drink options in front of me and I didn't know which one to start with!

Wine is fine🍷

I decided to begin the evening with a cocktail since it was sitting there waiting for me. If you've been following me you know I'm a beer gal, but I do like to mix it up with a cocktail from time to time.

I went with a Prohibition Mai Tai. I loved it! The fresh mint was wonderful. Hubs preferred the Southern Sangria with bourbon, peach liqueur, fresh lime, ScrappyOrleans and Amarena Cherry. I'm not a fan of bourbon, so no go for me, but he really enjoyed it.

Once I had my drink in hand I had to take in the view from the rooftop. What a visual delight!

I got to sample some food as well. It was all delicious and I wish I didn't talk so much so I could've enjoyed eating more of it! The Lobster Guacamole and Lobster Rolls were so good.

For desserts, I switched over to wine and let me tell you the house Cabernet was wonderful. I almost wished I was drinking it all night🍷Pair it with their Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Tart, oh my! The Strawberry Short Cake was just as tasty😋

Being the beer lady that I am I couldn't come and not enjoy a Cigar City Jai Alai🍻 There are a half dozen beers on tap and about a dozen cans and bottles. There are a few Florida favorites in the mix.

Watching the sunset from above was the perfect way to cap off the evening. That view!😍
