Exploring Orlando and Enjoying Local Bites, Brews, Parks and More

I feel very lucky to have so many great local eateries, bars, parks, shops and more near me. I don't have to venture too far to have some fun exploring Orlando.

This week I kept it close to home with a visit to Quantum Leap Winery. How cool is it that there is a local winery here in Orlando!

After enjoying wine with the ladies a few of us decided to make our way over to Black Rooster Taqueria

The weather we had last Friday was calling me to get out. Enjoyed exploring some local parks on the bike. Blue Jacket Park is one of my favorite parks.

I love how many of the bike trails are connected in Orlando. It's great that they have helpful maps up along the way.

After an afternoon of biking, it was time for Happy Hour at The Ravenous Pig. Their Pub burger is DELICIOUS!! Plus the truffle fries are my favorite too. Pair that with some Cask & Larder beer and I'm one happy lady.

After Happy Hour at the Pig, we made our way over to Virgina Drive. We met up with friends and did our own little winery/brewery/pub crawl. I think Virginia Drive is the best street in Orlando for craft beer! 🍻

Saturday was a day exploring the Audubon Park Garden District. Starting off with Breakfast at Bikes, Beans & Bordeaux.

Stopped by the East End Market a couple of times. Got some greens in at Skyebird.

Looked for some more greens up the way at Fresh24. I also needed to get some goat cheese for a beer pairing dinner that night and was happy to have a few options to choose from at this market. Nice gourmet food market with local produce and foods.

Bryan and I made it back to East End after a bike ride around town. We needed a bite to hold us over before a beer pairing party. What better way than to enjoy some Houndstooth Sauce pulled pork and bluegrass in the courtyard.

Sunday was a day of resting knowing Spring Break is around the corner.

I hope you had fun exploring Orlando!
