Exploring Blue Jacket Park in Orlando

Blue Jacket Park is located on a former Naval Training Center. In 2000 when the base was closed down, the City of Orlando allocated 75 acres for this public park. The name of the park is in reference to the informal term of the service personal.

There is a loop around the park that is about a mile. You will find ball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, a track field, and playground. There are a number of places in the park to have a picnic. There are tables and benches located throughout the grounds. The fountain would be a perfect spot for relaxing.

Parking is located around the perimeter and there is a lot off of General Reese Ave.
