Exploring Orlando ~ Enjoying Dining, Craft Beer, Walt Disney World & More

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July. I didn't do too much exploring this week. I did start my week with a visit to Cooper's Hawk.  Cooper's Hawk opened recently out at Waterford Lakes. I  joined fellow Central Florida Lady Bloggers for a wonderful dining and drinking experience. I'll have a full post about my experience soon.

Tuesday my oldest daughter left for the summer.  I thought I'd have until August with her, but she was ready to venture on her own. She headed to Michigan to get a job for the summer. She's up there having a fun time, but it's so hard cutting the cord.

Wednesday morning I headed over to check out the new Trader Joe's in Winter Park.  I got there about 8:45 in the morning and it wasn't crowded at all.  I stocked up on a bunch of fruit, but I have to say the flavors just weren't there. I'm going to stick with getting my produce at Freshfield Farms. There were a few things I tried that I wasn't that impressed with like the cream cheese & Joe's O's. I was happy to see some of my favorite Trader Joe finds.  Love the 4 Chocolate Croissants and the Ice Cream Sandwiches. I find that Trader Joe's, for the most part, is where you go for "fun" food. Now if only I could take what I like about Trader Joe's, Whole Foods & Publix and wrap it into one grocery store.

Thursday Bryan and I stopped by Oblivion Taproom to join some friends for bites and beers.  We enjoyed some good beers that night. My favorites were the German lagers and pilsners. I never order those, but my friend did and they were tasty. They both had wonderful honey aromas.

There was word that a new menu with more menu items should be happen soon.

Bryan & I headed to Walt Disney World on the 4th of July. We had a great time wandering about. The fireworks at Epcot are amazing!  Hanging out in the American Pavilion is a great way to enjoy celebrating the 4th.
