When my kiddos were younger and we visited Walt Disney World we enjoyed dining at Cinderella's Castle. Now that they are older we've graduated to the Beast's Castle. Our days of character dining may be over for a while, but it sure is fun to still dine in a castle.
I've enjoyed lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant a couple of times. Both visits I was at the park early and in exploring Fantasyland. Since we were in the area during lunch we thought we should check it out. There was only about a ten-minute wait outside before we allowed go into the restaurant.
On my recent visit to the restaurant it was nice to see that they were offering guests who were waiting in line some water. That same visit I noticed as we were leaving they had brought out umbrellas to those waiting to help shield the hot sun.
Both of our visits were close to eleven and the wait was minimal. By the time we finished eating the line was significantly longer. I have also heard of guests staying onsite being able to make Fastpasses for lunch.
Be Our Guest Restaurant is a visual delight. You feel as if you are a guest at a castle, minus the hundred other people who are dining with you. I love all the detail they have done to this restaurant.
When you walk in the restaurant a Cast Member will direct you to a touch screen to place your order if you are paying with credit or Magic Band. If you are paying a Cast Member will take your order.
Once your order is placed you will receive a small round "rose" to place on your table. There is a sensor in there that shows the Cast Member where you are seating and where to bring your food. There are soda stations in the rooms for you to fill up your cups on your own.
There are three dining rooms. The main hall is large and gets quite loud. This is where we sat both visits. We sat closer to the windows where we could see the snowfall. The ceiling here is amazing.
The "Rose" room is the smallest of the three. It is a bit dark in here, but the noise level is much better.
The third room is a nice mixture of both rooms; not too big or too small. The detail in here is quite nice too.
Everyone was happy with their meals. The sandwiches here are some of the best in Disney. I enjoyed my sandwich so much that I ordered it again on my second visit.

For my daughter's second visit she ordered Chip's Delight off the Kid's menu. This was plenty of food for them. It comes with green beans, but you can swap out for fries if you'd like.
Be Our Guest is one of my favorite places to dine at Walt Disney World. The atmosphere is wonderful, the service has been good and the food was some of the best counter service meals we've had at Disney.
I do hope to make it to a dinner here soon. I would like to see how different the restaurant is when it becomes table service in the evening. Plus it's also the only time you can enjoy a bottle of Saison Dupont in the Magic Kingdom.
