The Winter Park Beer Company is a nice addition to this unique neighborhood. They have remolded and rebranded the old Taps From Scratch building. I had visited Taps From Scratch with my Orlando Lady Crafters in the past. It's nice to come back and visit the Winter Park Beer Company and enjoy some of the beers we had back then.
I'm digging what they have done with this space. It has a bit of a bohemian artsy feel about it. They have opened up a wall and created a nice bar. There are a handful of rooms; each one decorated in it's own style. There is local art adorning the walls in the bar. You'll also find a number of board games on hand or perhaps a game of pool is more your style?
I've tried a few of their house beers with my favorite being their Stormy Oatmeal Stout. I'm not much of a Blonde Ale fan, but the Corn Flaked Blonde Ale was tasty. I'm looking forward to trying their Honey Bee IPA once it's on tap.
While their beers are the focus here you can find a handful of other beers to choose from. One of the nights we stopped in there was a Cigar City Florida Cracker and a Bell's Oberon. They also have a couple of wine options as well as a mead.
