Exploring Orlando with visits to CityWalk, Thornton Park and the Audubon Park Garden District

I didn't do as much exploring this week due to family events. I had two spring concerts, a nephew graduating and a softball banquet. I always enjoy the energy this time of year as school starts to wind down and everyone is ready for summer.

The nights I wasn't busy with family outings I did have fun out and about in Orlando. Monday Bryan and I headed to CityWalk to dine at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. I always have a fun time eating there. We got to sample their specialty burgers they have during #NationalBurgerMonth

Thursday I headed over to Thornton Park to join my Orlando Lady Crafters for our May Meet-up. I started out at Dexter's of Thornton Park for a bite to eat. They have a great happy hour with all their bottles being about $2.75. They have some good craft beer on the menu too!

After grabbing a bite to eat with a few of the ladies we headed across the street to The Falcon Bar for our gathering. We had a great time; such a fun neighborhood bar with cool artwork changing every month. Nice selection of craft beers.

Friday I biked over to Audubon Park. It was a beautiful afternoon to be out and about in this neighborhood. I stopped by the East End Market to visit Skyebird to get a Fresh Beets Juice. I love this juice!

Afterwards I stopped by Park Ave CD's to pick up a candle. They have my favorite candles. They are local by Jilliansays! and they all smell wonderful.

5:00pm I headed to Redlight Red Light to me up with a group of friends. We were there to enjoy the Florida Tap Takeover event that was happening for American Craft Beer Week. The taps were completely taken over by Florida beers.  It was a fun time because we all sampled each other's beer and we tried so many delicious Florida beers. My favorites of the night were a Ginger Lemongrass from Funky Buddha and Chickory Dickory Dock from Cigar City Brewing.

While we were enjoying craft beers at Redlight Red Light we got some tasty sushi brought in from neighboring Sushi Lola's.
