Exploring Orlando with Local Eats, Cocktails, Craft Beer and Nature

We had a bit of a wet week here in Orlando. That didn't stop me from getting out and enjoying some events around town.

I made it over to The Coop for their ribbon cutting.  It's great to hear about the passion put into a new business. I've enjoyed some food from The Coop, but this was my first time visiting. I can't wait to come back. Blog post to come!

Later that same day I went over to Brio Tuscan Grille  located in the Winter Park Village. I got to check out their new Happy Hour menu with my fellow Yelp Elites. They have some great cocktails on the menu like this Black Raspberry Cosmo. Brio has a very good happy hour deal worth checking out.

Friday Bryan and I headed over to the Loews Royal Pacific Resort for Jake's Spring Beer Festival. We joined some fellow Orlando Lady Crafters and their gents for an evening of great fun. This is one of my favorite beer festivals. There are good beer, food, and entertainment taking place a lovely tropical setting of the resort.

Sunday the rain had finally cleared out. My oldest was finally going to get to play her softball game.  It was such a beautiful day out I thought it would be nice to bike over to the field. I love living in Baldwin Park where nature is abound. We are lucky to have a trail system in the neighborhood that allows us to get out and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. There are some great parks in the neighborhood worth exploring.

My daughter lost her softball game, but it was a good game. It was nice to see a good team like Vero Beach move on in the regionals. We soon forgot about the loss after a fun visit to Oblivion Taproom. The Taproom had a May the 4th Be With You event. It was a fun time with the family. The place was packed. I loved seeing the little Jedi's get their picture taken with Darth Vader.  Oblivion has some fun events worth checking out.
