A Day at Walt Disney World Enjoying the Boardwalk and Disney's Hollywood Studios

I enjoyed Mother's Day with the family at Walt Disney World. Disney World is one place our family with teens enjoy hanging out as a together. We have many happy memories at Walt Disney World since we spent yearly vacations there since the kids were babies. Now that we live here we still enjoy visiting and creating more memories.

We started our afternoon off at Disney's Boardwalk. The Boardwalk is one of my favorite places at Walt Disney World. It's not only a visual delight, but the sounds can take you back to a bygone era.

We came to the Boardwalk, so that I could enjoy some of my favorite craft beer at Big River Grille & Brewery Works.

My kiddos got me a fun Mother's Day gift to brighten up my Magic Band.

It was a beautiful afternoon for a stroll to Disney Hollywood Studios.
Walkway to Disney's Hollywood Studios

Disney Hollywood Studios is my least favorite park. Though lately I've been enjoying myself a lot there. I was thrilled to see it wasn't extremely crowded. We had made our Fastpass+ reservations the day before. We were all going to ride on Star Tours. Afterwards I was going to ride Rock 'n' Roller Coaster with the older two while Bryan and CK went to watch Lights, Motor Action! We had a few hours till our last Fastpass at Toy Story for Bryan & CK and Tower of Terror for the rest of us.

Since Bryan & I walked we beat the kids who had taken the boat. I did a little shopping at the gift shop out front. I found this screen cleaner that I absolutely love!

This was why we came to DHS today. I love riding these two rides and so do my older two. Someday my youngest will get the courage to go on them.

We stopped by the Backlot Express for a bite. This was my first visit. My kids like coming here because they get free refills on their drinks. *Blog post to come

After dinner Bryan and I headed over to The Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge while the kids went on rides. Last year we enjoyed cocktails and dessert on the patio before they officially turned it into a lounge. I'm so happy they have done this. This is one of my favorite places in Disney to enjoy a drink. I especially like the Citizens Take Flight of margaritas. They have a small selection of beers and it was nice to see a good one in the lot.

I took a stroll over in the Animation Courtyard. I haven't been in this area in years. I have many happy memories of taking the kids to see Bear in the Big Blue House.

This was the first time I had been in The Magic of Disney Animation. It was cool to see the pictures and the oscars on display.

While we were waiting for our Fastpass reservations we sat out by The American Idol. I've never watched this show. My kids were entertained by watching it on the big screen out front.

We capped off our night on Tower of Terror. We didn't even need our Fastpass. We should've just gotten one for Toy Story and joined Bryan and CK. I love this ride, but the queue is my favorite.

This was one of my favorite visits to Disney Holllywood Studios. I got my fill and probably won't be back for a while. I'm sure my kids will be visiting during Star Wars Weekend.
