Boy how bowling has changed since I was a kid growing up in small town Michigan. Gone are the florescent lights and now comes the bling.
Bowling is a fun activity for all and the folks at Kings in Orlando sure know how to do it up right. This "30,000 square foot entertainment venue" is located in the heart of International Drive.
I love the look about this space. It has a retro feel with a cool look about it. There is a spacious bar when you walk in with booth seating surrounding it. Some booths are set up with their own tap system for beers. You'll also find another spacious bar set up near the bowling lanes.
If you're looking to catch your game on TV, Kings has you covered. Along with 22 lanes for bowling you will find 4 billiards tables to enjoy.
My second visit we enjoyed hanging out in the front bar and enjoying the evening on their patio out front. This visit we got to sample some of their new menu items along with a few cocktails. I appreciate that they are serving up some good food and fun drinks at Kings.
My favorites on the menu were the Buffalo Wontons and the Spinach & Strawberry Salad. I enjoy a salad and I was surprised at how good this was.
The cocktails were all good, but I loved "The Dude". This concoction was made with Kahlua, Chocolate Vodka, Godiva Chocolate Liquor & milk served over ice. It was my dessert! They do have a small but decent craft beer menu with Orlando Brewing, Dogfish and Magic Hat to name a few.

It's great to see a cool vibe and a nice food and cocktail menu, but what about the bowling? Kings is so much fun for bowling. The layout is great for groups of any size. While we were bowling on our visits there was an awesome DJ playing a great mix of tunes. I had a blast with my friends. While I was a guest I would not hesitate to come back with some friends. This is an ideal location for celebrations. They even have a few private lanes, now that would be a fun time.
