Barnie's CoffeeKitchen in Winter Park

Give me an excuse to swing over to Park Avenue and I'm there. I love the shops and eateries that line this Winter Park neighborhood.  One of my favorite spots along the Avenue to enjoy some tasty food is at Barnie's CoffeeKitchen. Their courtyard patio out back is fabulous

I had an opportunity to stop by with some fellow bloggers to sample some items off of Barnie's Spring Menu. I've enjoyed a few meals at Barnie's CoffeeKitchen. While coffee may be a big part of who they are, their food is a quality worth stopping by for as well.
We started off with various wines to choose from. One of my favorite drinks they offer is the Grapefruit Ginger Sparkler. This is a glass to enjoyed best on the patio. The frozen grapefruit keeps the sparking wine chilled and adds a nice flavor as it melts in the drink.

We sampled many delicious bites from their lunch menu. The Mini Fig & Brie Tartine and Mini Caprese Tartine were full of flavor in one bit.

The Chicken & Lentil Tagine was quite tasty seasoned with Mediterranean spices.

I was a big fan of the Key West Pink Shrimp Skewers. This taste just like you think Florida food should. The Flak Steak Skewers with salsa verde melted in your mouth.

While we were enjoying our food and beverages we found out a bit about the upcoming Central Florida Home & Garden Show.  The show is taking place this weekend (4/4-4-6) at the Orange County Convention Center.

A highlight to the show will be the Edible Orlando Cooking Stage.  There will be cooking demos by Central Florida's Top Chefs.  They will have samples too!

The trucks will be serving food from 10:am-6pm. Some of Central Florida’s favorite mobile food purveyors, including The Yum Yum Cupcake Truck, The Crepe Company, Sweet City Gelato and Gourmet Desserts, London Fish and Chippy and Magic4urPalate will serve delicious fare for purchase at the entrance to the Convention Center.

Of course there are plenty of other activities, events and personalities that will be at the Home & Garden Show as well. There is something for everyone!

After hearing about all the fun to be had at the Central Florida Home & Garden Show we capped off our evening with some delicious coffee.  Barnie's has always been one of my favorite places to enjoy a good cup of coffee. The baristas know how to make the perfect cup each time. Even if I don't dine at Barnie's CoffeeKitchen for dinner, if I'm out on the Avenue I have to end my night with a latte from Barnie's.

You can also enjoy your favorite Barnie's coffee at home. They have a nice variety of bagged coffee. My favorite is the K-Cups. There's nothing like enjoying a cup of Santa's White Christmas in the morning!
