Marlow's Tavern Orlando

Pointe Orlando is not a likely spot to find many locals. Its location next to the convention center is a big draw for visiting conventioneers. As a local I think it's fun to head down I-Drive every now and then and do some exploring.

Pointe Orlando is a nice place to wander about and for a little shopping and grab a bite to eat. Whenever I'm at Pointe Orlando I end up stopping by Marlow's Tavern to enjoy a pint on the patio. Their outdoor patio is great for enjoying the Florida weather and doing a little people watching on I-Drive.

Marlow's Tavern is a small chain out of Atlanta. They have about a dozen restaurants with two of them in Florida.  Each one is unique to its location. The Marlow's Tavern in Orlando has a nice tavern feel about it.  I especially like the open bar allowing those sitting at the bar to enjoy the outdoors.

I enjoy that this Marlow's Tavern offers a Happy Hour daily from 3pm-7pm with $4 wines & wells and $3 domestic drafts. As a Lady Crafter I also enjoy that they have some craft beers to choose from.

My last visit to Marlow's Tavern was to sample their new Daily Cocktail Specials. This location teamed up with Van Gogh Vodka and has created a special cocktail for each day of the week. These daily drinks are only $5.

While I love my craft beer I do like to indulge in a cocktail from time to time. These creations are delicious. While I enjoyed them all my favorites were the Italian Wedding Cake and the Coffee Cake Martini.

Van Gogh Vodka is also teaming up with Marlow's Tavern and offering a vodka paring dinner. These dinners will take place April 17, May 22, and June 19.

Marlow's has a nice selection of appetizers. My favorites from the appetizer menu are the Asparagus Fries and J.T.'s Kettle Chips.  I like that the fries are never greasy and the Citrus Aioli sauce is perfect for dipping. The Kettle Chips always taste great with a pint of beer.

While we enjoyed our cocktails we also got to try a few things from their Bayou & Bourbon Menu. This Louisiana inspired menu is offered at all locations through March 31st. It's a tasty way to get into the Mardi Gras spirit.

The Fiery Spice Lump Crab Cake was my favorite. It had the right about of bite. The Honey Bourbon Bread Pudding is a tasty way to end your meal. I'm usually a chocolate gal, but this dessert was delicious!
