Fall Fun on the Cheap at Walt Disney World

Halloween is next week, so this is your last weekend to get your seasonal fix. While we can't feel the change of seasons in the air and we're lacking apple orchards there are some fun and inexpensive ways to enjoy fall in Orlando.

One of our family favorites is to head to Walt Disney World.  Sure you can enjoy all the fall decorations on Main Street, but there are cheaper ways to get into the holiday spirit while visiting Walt Disney World.

We have enjoyed taking a stroll around Ft. Wilderness.  There are folks over at Ft. Wilderness Campground who go all out for this holiday.  Explore the campground and see how creative some of these campers are with their Halloween decorations.

You can also find bits of Halloween and fall scattered about Downtown Disney.  While there is construction going on for their transformation to Disney Springs; Downtown Disney is a fun place to wander, shop, eat and take in the sights.

While you're down at Walt Disney World you may want to stop by Celebration where the town is hosting their Oktoberfest this weekend.  This is a free event and it's a fun way to get your fall fix.  There are entertainment and activities for the kids.  There are a number of houses in Celebration that go all out for Halloween, so be sure to drive around and check out the holiday lights.
