Walt Disney World Dining ~ Tangierine Cafe

Epcot is my favorite place to eat while at Walt Disney World.  There are so many choices with sit down restaurants, counter service and food carts.  I prefer enjoying a meal at one of the many counter service options.  This is an inexpensive way to enjoy dining at Disney.  One of our favorite counter service spots is the Tangierine Cafe located in the Morocco Pavilion.

You can get a lot of bang for your buck here.  Bryan and I will split meals here all the time and I feel that it is plenty of food.  Our meal of choice has been the Chicken & Lamb Platter.  Everything is tasty and the meats are flavored so nice.

When we stop here for a meal I usually get a cocktail from the coffee bar just to the left inside the restaurant.  The Tangierine Daiquiri is a great drink and one of my favorites at Walt Disney World.  If you love the taste of tangerines this is your drink.  Be warned, you must drink slow to avoid a brain freeze!

One of our visits fell on a Monday.  I try to participate in Meatless Monday so for this trip to the Tangierine Cafe we went with the Falafel Wrap.  This plate is much smaller than the Platters and priced accordingly.  I have to say this was a bit of a let down.  I did not care for the Falafel Wrap, I didn't find it very flavorful.  While the side salads were tasty it wouldn't be enough for me to order this dish again.

All wasn't lost, I did enjoy my Tangierine Cocktail.  It's a bit different than the Daiquiri; the Strawberry slush is mixed with the Tangerine Slush.  They even put some whipped cream on top.

While I probably won't be making it back to the Tangierine Cafe for a falafel anytime soon, it will more than likely be my first option to dine while wandering around Epcot.  The platters are delicious and I enjoy the atmosphere of the Moroccan courtyard while dining outside.
